The Black love box is a lifestyle subscription box featuring full and sample size products ranging from purses to earrings, adornments, home decor, natural body butters, soaps, oils, apothecary, tea, incense, and any other beautiful item suited to today’s afro-centric enthusiast. The Black Love Box showcases small independent businesses that are full of potential and dedication to their community as well as fair trade products that are made-in-Africa.  Each box is curated from an African perspective, using traditional and Diasporan fashion and symbology as our theme. Our box curators have backgrounds in business, education, design, and African studies.  The Black Love Box represents the entire African Diaspora. We feel that black love should not be limited to one country, but should be celebrated as a collective of unique, colorful, and vibrant cultures. Each box tells a story and has a unique theme connected to the mood of each season.

 Chief Executive Officer

Tamara Kae is a small-business owner, artist, educator, mother, wife, and web designer. A founding member of the Black Love Box, she uses her background in African studies and educational psychology to make sure each selection is representative of the BLB mission. Since graduating from Howard University, she has spent much of her time helping to develop multiple black-owned brands and businesses. Her passion stems from being raised by two Jamaican business owners, who were strong believers in the philosophies of Marcus Garvey.

“There is no force like success, and that is why the individual makes all effort to surround himself throughout life with the evidence of it; as of the individual, so should it be of the nation.” - Marcus Garvey
